ABOUT LINDA JULIE

A teacher in the traditions of Tantra Yoga, iRest Meditation and Ayurveda, Yogini Linda Julie is the creator of  Conscious Vinyasa Yoga as well as several programs for functional movement and self care. Linda is known for her steady communication and ability to distil complex teachings in a way that is clear and consistent. Her authentic voice makes the ageless and esoteric wisdom of yoga accessible to all.

From her earliest childhood memories, Linda was moved by a deep sense of spiritual yearning. Questions about the nature and meaning of life were constant companions on her journey to discover deeper truth and understanding. Innately drawn to the atmosphere of the natural world, she sensed the nearness of a deeper presence at an early age. But it wasn’t until later in life, when she experienced her most life-changing trauma, that she was ready for authentic realization. In fact, it was through personal trauma that Linda began a regular meditation practice. The internal and external practices of tantric hatha yoga naturally followed and have served as her lifeline and primary methodology of recovery.

Yoga has grown like wild fire in the west and for good reason: it offers a powerful system for today’s world, where stress and anxiety are the new normal. Science, despite its amazing benefits, offers little help when it comes to navigating our inner world. Rationalism alone doesn’t help us to deal with the changes and challenges of our lives: experiences like grief and loss, illness, aging, addiction or finding purpose. For these deeper challenges we need a holistic and embodied approach like yoga that includes integrative practices help us process our experiences and live an awakened, fulfilling life.

Whether you are a newcomer to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Yogini Linda makes the time-tested technologies of yoga accessible and inspiring to the modern practitioner. With over 15 years of direct practice and 1500 hours of teaching experience, her proven approach can help you learn yoga in a way that will lead to radical wellbeing and vibrant health.

Over the years, Linda has integrated the wisdom in her teachings of many wonderful teachers, healers and therapists.  Her primary teachers are: John Piller (Primary series of vinyasa yoga), Yogarupa Rod Stryker (Tantra), Richard Miller (Tantra, iRest Nidra Meditation), Jean Mazzei (Tantra)  and Acharya Sunya (Ayurveda).

Conscious Vinyasa Yoga

Conscious Vinyasa Yoga as a deeply intentional synthesis of the primary series of Ashtanga yoga and mindfulness meditation. Equal parts invigoration and contemplation, Conscious Vinyasa Yoga is centered around the three pillars of breath, attention and mindful movement.
